About The Artist

Born in mid-city New Orleans, Louisiana, Darel Joseph has taken the pseudonym Infinity.  Infinity earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of New Orleans with areas of concentration: painting, photography, assemblage, collage, videography, and performance. Infinity uses mixed mediums as a collage of art styles to the engage viewers’ multiple senses. Infinity incorporates a vibrant color pallet as giving viewers a euphoric experience when engaging her art. 

New Orleans has a rich culture and Infinity is a product of that culture. She is fortunate to have a special family cultural connection to (Mid-City) New Orleans as she expresses that unique attribute in her art process. Infinity incorporates her studies of history as a foundation to her art. A rich history has been preserved in New Orleans’ culture thus intrinsically preserved within Infinity. Infinity brings her culture to the world from a personal perspective as one who began as a New Orleans entertainer as she has merged that experience into Fine Arts performance. 

Infinity is a diverse and unique artist who uses her upbeat and whimsical personality to connect with her audience. She makes use of many art mediums to create her unique style. Infinity has mastered the Art of being herself.
